I was honored to take part in a beautiful baby shower recently. The event was a design collaboration between Wylie West Creative & La Femme Epicure and together we helped Ben and Amy celebrate the impending arrival of their baby boy!
The overall inspiration for the menu was summer and the local farmers market. After an afternoon of cake tasting, the mother-to-be selected a tiered funfetti cake by Susie Cakes (with custom Wylie West Creative Cake Topper) and an ice cream cart from Carmela with a selection of seasonal ice creams and sorbet. We created an Iced Tea and Lemonade Bar with tons of add-ons like fresh citrus, an array of herbs, and simple syrup so that guests could create their own combinations. The final touches included custom gray and blue linen cocktails napkins from H&H Collective, stripy blue straws, and gold animal drink stirrers.
