Sarah Hendrix is private chef, sommelier and culinary enthusiast. She always knew she was destined for a career in the hospitality industry. The California native, who grew up in the seaside town of Carmel, was born and raised in the restaurant business.
After earning her bachelors degree in restaurant operations, she became a certified sommelier during her time with the Pebble Beach company in Northern California. A couple of years later she received her culinary arts degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Seattle while working for James Beard Award winning chef Tom Douglas. It was in Seattle that she fell in love with food and event styling and creating highly personalized culinary experiences.
After relocating to Los Angeles for her dream private chef job she founded, La Femme Epicure, a company that focuses on intimate entertaining, culinary branding, recipe development, menu design, and food styling.
